EVENT OVERVIEW
The 3rd annual Gulf Coast Safe Streets Summit (GCSSS) will be held virtually for the first time. The Summit is a collaborative effort between the Florida Department of Transportation and six metropolitan planning organizations; Forward Pinellas, Hernando/Citrus MPO, Hillsborough MPO, Pasco MPO, Polk TPO, and the Sarasota/Manatee MPO.
The Summit is an educational event that brings together national speakers, public officials, technical staff, sister counties, and community partners to elevate our efforts on how to design and implement safe and equitable transportation facilities for all modes of transportation.

The Champions Session
